What are the Emesyl® dosage directions?

Please consult the dosage directions on the Emesyl® packaging and label. Recommended use is to pump one or two times into each nostril once every 4 hours as needed.

The active ingredients for Emesyl® are Ipecacuanha, Tabacum, and Zingiber officinale.

Is Emesyl® safe to take during pregnancy?

The active ingredients in Emesyl® are listed as drugs in the Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS) which is a compendium recognized in the Federal Food, Drug, Cosmetic Act. As such, these products are classified by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) as OTC homeopathic drugs. Emesyl® is or will be sold over-the-counter in accord with FDA laws, regulations and guidelines.

Is it okay to take Emesyl® after the expiration date?

You should not take Emesyl® after the expiration date. The expiration date assures the quality of the product.

Does Emesyl® include gluten?

None of the Emesyl® ingredients contain glutens derived from wheat, rye or barley. However, we cannot assure that the manufacturing processes and facilities use equipment that did not come in contact with gluten agents. You should avoid using Emesyl® if you have symptoms suggesting a reaction to gluten contact.

Is Emesyl® safe to give to children?

Please consult the Use Directions on the Emesyl® packaging and label. Use by children 6 years of age and older should be with adult supervision. Please consult a physician for proposed use of Emesyl® by children under 6 years of age.
